Levi Daniel, you are Two years old!
Levi, you have been growing in leaps and bounds over the last 6 months. Your vocabulary is expanding every day and you have so much to say. You are pointing out everything that you see around you from "school bus" to "city bus" to "big truck". You also make sure we know what Elijah is up to - or if you want us to know that he is doing something naughty. You do get frustrated with mama and papa when you are clearly telling us something and we do not understand.
You love looking at books and when you have time by yourself, you are often flipping through pages of books in your room. Right now your favorite book is Dragons love Tacos and Bed Time for Tad.
Levi, you are often at the heels of Elijah. You love when he includes you in his imaginative play and you're almost always willing to do as he says. When you do reach your limit you will yell out "No, Elijah, No!". You have a hard time accepting when Elijah might not want to play with you and your brother has a hard time accepting when you won't play with him. You two are becoming pretty good buddies. Levi, you love imitating your brother, even if you're not sure what he is doing or what word he is saying - you do your best impression. You also love wresting with Elijah, but sometimes you are too rough with your brother.
You are usually a pretty calm little guy. However, when something is hurting (like teeth) or you haven't been getting enough sleep you can be quick to whine, say "I don't like it" to everything and yell "Nooooo". You often throw tantrums during these times as well. Otherwise you are incredibly amicable and happy to go to the flow. You love making others laugh and if you are successful you like to say "I funny". You are also incredibly empathetic, if you see someone who isn't feeling well you will rub their head and say "I'm sorry."
Levi, you continue to not be as into food. You may have a good eating day once or twice a week. Otherwise, you nibble on food and then tell us you're all done. It definitely causes mama and papa some frustration. You will always say yes to fruit or dessert when it is around, but can be picky with everything else.
You recently developed viral induced asthma. You begin to have troubles breathing when you get a virus. It's pretty hard to see, but now we have better tools to help you.
For your second birthday we invited a bunch of friends over for a Mickey themed birthday party. Boy were you excited. You loved seeing Mickey everywhere, having friends over and eating cake. You love singing Happy Birthday all the time, so it was fun to have everyone sing to you!
Over the next few months, you are looking forward to heading to the East Coast to meet your cousins, summertime fun, having your cousin Eleanor come for a visit, and your first camping trip. You're also looking forward to starting 1 day a week preschool in the Fall.
